One of the fastest little baby I know! Within 3 seconds into the shoot he scooted right off the set and headed straight for all the lighting equipment! I can tell he really likes technology because he loved holding his cell phone, and my lens cap :)

It was such a privilege to capture sweet little Kai this weekend!

This summer has been super crazy fun/busy, and before we even realized it, fall has arrived. This post is a little late :) Congrats to Joe & Levina, we hope you are adjusting well to married life. Thanks for making us a part of your special day. It was so fast, fun, and action packed, we were so impressed with the amount of energy you had to party it up in the evening! Mylore & Liezl - Wedding Day!!!

Woohoo! Thanks for letting us take part in your special day Mylore & Liezl! It was undoubtedly one of the funnest, most action packed weddings we’ve attended. Yay for Philipino weddings! We had a blast shooting throughout the day with you and your friends, from “empanitas” to beautiful bumblebee filled canola fields, then into an evening filled with awesome introductions, performers, and a rocking dance! What do you get when you combine a fun loving wacky couple, a golf course, and a limo that opens up the “Lamborghini way” in 33+ degree C weather? That’s right…you get Amy and Frankie’s wedding!!! You both sure know how to have fun, and we love how so many of your wedding games reflected who you are as a couple (the Mii’s), and how your entire bridal party know you both so well, even down to the exact meal Frankie prepared for Amy for your engagement dinner! Kid pictures are great, they remind us of a time long ago when summers were long and your worries were few! They also give us a glimpse into the future of what’s required when you become parents…*sigh* if only all kids were as happy and easy going as this one! We got a wonderful chance to meet Jen and Phil and their beautiful girl Makayla last weekend! Makayla just turned one, and they wanted to take some fun candid family photos outside in our fine Edmontonian summer weather. She was so good, putting up with us sticking cameras and flashes in her face, we can definitely tell that this girl is going to grow up to be a model……student! hahaha, all jokes aside, you have a wonderful family and we look forward to seeing you again this summer… at Joe and Levina’s wedding!!!!

Angela & Peter - Pre-Wedding Session

Oh how we love nature! This past weekend we had the opportunity to shoot with Angela and Peter who flew all the way from Hong Kong to take their wedding pictures in the majestic rocky mountains! You two make such a cute couple and it was great getting to know you guys! Thanks for braving the rapids, and sitting on cliffs. KAIO Photography gets a facelift!

We decided that the old website didn’t really suit our needs. It was kinda slow, hard to update, and had really annoying music. So we decided to replace it with a blogsite! Half blog - half website, this hybrid monstrosity will hopefully work better to let you view our work and what we are currently working on.

We just returned from home from holidays in Hong Kong, Philipines, and Nashville (for nate), and we’re excited to get back in the swing of things this summer. Stay tuned for more updates in the future!

Mylore & Liezl - Engagement Session

What a lively shoot! These two love birds so fun to be around, and although our shoot started out with a “traumatizing find/incident” in SUB, it didn’t really faze us at all! Liezl, you are first person I know who thinks stilettos are comfy to walk in! :P This girl has the amazing talent to jump, kick, and climb in 3 inch heels! Mylore, you’re a lucky man! :)
